The event will take place over 14-15th May and will see a handful of HUUB ambassadors race in the fourth ITU of the 2016 season. Look out for the HUUB swim cap on ALL athletes!
In the Men's Elite race it will be Brit and Derby born Tom Bishop's last chance to stake a claim on the third British slot in Rio. We will be rooting for our man Henri Schoeman to exit the water first.
The Women's Elite race will see Mari Rabie, Aileen Reid (pictured below) and Erin Jones looking to improve their world series rankings.
Our HUUB Japan athletes include Jyunpei Furuya and Kohei Tsubaki in the Elite Men's and Yukako Hata in the Para-triathlete race.
We'll hopefully be reporting on the race through the eyes of Harry Wiltshire sometime next week but he is racing an Ironman whilst the ITU action unfolds. Apologies in advance for any delay with the write up!
