HUUB take part in ‘Charity Store Wars’ and need your help

Store Wars

At HUUB we like to think of ourselves as a big-hearted business and do a lot to help raise money for charity, especially within the local business community. This time, we can’t do it alone and need a little help from our fellow businesses and all you customers out there.

So, what is Charity Store Wars? - I hear you ask. Business in the Community has paired businesses with local charities at random, and then each company is allocated a pop-up charity shop on June 1st 2018. Fundraising on the day can include selling items, raffles or tombola’s and is designed to be a fun and relaxed day.

Nick Tooley, organiser and Business Connector for Derby, told East Midlands Business News: “Businesses are encouraged to be as creative as possible with the Store Wars event to raise as much money as they can use their marketing expertise and businesses skills – I’m hoping that they will be thinking outside the box.”

HUUB have been paired with Shoe Aid, and we will have a stall on Derby Market Hall. If you have anything to donate that we can sell to the people of Derby, please contact ellie@huubdesign.com who can send you a prepaid postage label. If you are local come down and see us on the day, and see if you can grab an absolute bargain!

After the event, the winning business and charity will be announced at an awards ceremony.
