At the National Track Championships in Manchester, HUUB Wattbike smashed the velodrome's team-pursuit record, and also set a new championship record on the way to retaining their national title, with a time of 3.54.0 in the gold medal final.
John Archibald successfully defended his individual pursuit title, beating teammate Jonny Wale with a time of 4:14.572. The team had a lockout of the men's IP podium collecting the Gold, Silver and Bronze. Dan Bigham won the battle in the bronze medal final, by beating fellow HUUB Wattbike athlete Will Perrett.
It was a very successful weekend for the lads, Jonny Wale was also crowned national champion in the Kilo, with Dan Bigham second, and Kyle Gordon third - making it the teams second podium clean sweep! And as if that wasn't enough, Will Perrett also got another bronze medal in the points race.
Supported with the fastest kit, HUUB Wattbike wear skinsuits born from part of a group known as the 'Fellowship of Speed'. HUUB's ongoing partnership with Vorteq has helped the team gain medals and smash records throughout their relatively short career. The Fellowship of Speed continues to innovate and push the limits of aerodynamics in pursuit of the most competitive edge possible in cycling and triathlon.
