Alistair Brownlee

Focus now turns to the 70.3 World Champions this coming weekend in Nice. We can expect to see some epic racing over the Saturday and Sunday in the PRO races, along with thousands of Age Group athletes that will travel to the picturesque French city to try and claim a World title.

HUUB's Alistair Brownlee (GBR) will start as one of the favourites in the men's race after finishing a close second last year. The double Olympic Champion looks to have had a better build-up to the Championships this year so we will hope to see him full of racing come Sunday.

His main competition will come in the form of long-time rival Javier Gomez (ESP) and also ITU Grand Final winner and fellow HUUB athlete Kristian Blummenfelt. However long distance superstars including Patrick Lange (GER), Sebastian Kienle (GER), and a whole host of others will pose an equal threat.
