Digital & Creative Marketing Assistant
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join the HUUB Design team based at our head office in Derby. HUUB is a multi-award-winning, world-leading triathlon outfitter who combines design, performance and science at the heart of everything they do.
We are currently enjoying continued growth and are now looking for a Marketing Assistant (Digital & Creative) to join our team to help implement the brand's marketing strategy. You will primarily be focusing on day to day tasks across a variety of platforms including website, social media, e-mail marketing, and graphic design. Support and training will be available if necessary.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and has a natural flair for design but will be happy carrying out marketing admin tasks when necessary.
The role is varied, demanding and very rewarding, just like triathlons, no two days are the same, and the pace is fast, so you need to be able to keep up.
Full time, permanent, salary dependant on experience.
Maintain website content and stock levels, ensuring all the product information is correct and all links work. Ensure products are listed with appropriate information for Google Shopping campaigns.
Create new products and SKU’s, process product images for the web using a Photoshop template, and update collections and navigation.
Improve organic SEO by editing existing copy, meta titles and descriptions. Use Google Search Console to fix issues and optimise the website for Google search.
Design, update and maintain company documentation, corporate stationary, and marketing materials.
Create graphics and manipulate photography for use on email marketing campaigns and social media.
Layout sales sheets and catalogue pages using an existing design template.
Export website data via CSV and manipulate for customers if requested, as well as generating reports as and when required.
Create and test discount codes and promotional cart rules.
Social media engagement on multiple channels, responding to requests and queries in a timely manner. Monitor conversations and manage crisis.
Create engaging social media posts inline with the marketing plan, ensuring integration with wider marketing campaigns.
Update the HUUB Hub (Sharefile system) with any relevant content, sharing assets with customers and partners when requested.
Regularly communicate marketing activity to key stakeholders.
Email customers who have created a stock notification for an obsolete product with suitable alternatives and/or discounts.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You must have work experience within a similar role, have worked within a marketing department, or a qualification in marketing or graphic design.
You need to have previous experience using a website CMS system.
You must have a good understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, comfortable working across both print and digital platforms.
We are looking for a committed and highly organised individual, with high energy levels.
You must have the ability to manage multiple projects and see them through until the completion, working under tight timescale parameters.
The job requires excellent attention to detail when it comes to proofing, and a good understanding of grammar and use of the English language.
The role requires a very basic understanding of SEO.
An interest in photography and the ability to take simple product shots would be useful, but not essential.
A triathlete or someone who knows the triathlon market would be a big bonus.
