Quality is great and the suit really helps my open water swimming, BUT the sizing is really difficult to get right. I’m 6ft, 81kg, everything pointed me to the size M/L. When it arrived I struggled to get it around my shoulders when zipping up. I adjusted how I put it on, lifting sleeves up the forearm more, lifting up my lower legs etc to create for slack on the upper body that helped, but it still is tight. I’ve worn it twice now so too late to change, therefore I will just have to accept that fit, not ideal. If I was to recommend anything, buy 2 sizes to try on if your unsure what to order, send one back, to save time going back and forth.
Really nice design and nice and fast in the water. I tried an MT first because I am 183cm and 71kg. However, the ML was a better fit for me.
Really good value for money; feels like a good quality suit for the cost. A little thinner than my previous suit, which many might consider a good thing. I, as a poor swimmer, appreciated the extra buoyancy of a thicker suit but I imagine a better swimmer might prefer the flexibility and light weight of a thinner one. Overall I'm very happy with this and can't really argue.
Wet suit looked amazing. It was delivered really quickly but unfortunately even though I fall within the stated size guidelines it mas miles too small. Expecting an XL in the post soon and hope that's a better fit
This is my first suit with Huub and I have been impressed so far (two sea swims to date). As well as the buoyancy and flexibility I have been really pleased with how (so far!) robust the suit seems. Previous brands have nicked easily - this far no such issues. Also the removing of this suit is also better, especially with the arms. The zip is a bit of a faff and I am yet to master it but otherwise great suit (and excellent service when I needed to change size).
