Tow Float

Brightly coloured Tow Floats are an essential bit of kit for outdoor swimmers and for some races they are mandatory kit. Perfect for waters where there are boat users the Tow Float will increase your visibility in the water whether swimming solo or in a group, with minimal interference to your swimming (you won’t notice it is there). Should you need to rest or require assistance, the tow float will offer buoyant support capable of supporting your weight, and you will be easier to locate. If you are taking your children into the open water, a Tow Float will mean you can spot them very quickly.

Once inflated, the 16l Safety Tow Float can be attached using an adjustable waistband and leash. Made from durable PVC they are 100% waterproof and capable of carrying personal belongings keeping your things safe and dry while you swim.

Possibly the most important piece of equipment come race day is your swim goggles. A piece of equipment so many of us take for granted, yet without them, all of our preparation and training is wasted. It's time to take your goggles seriously, and really understand what is needed on race day.

Wouldn’t it be great if most events started in the middle of the day, the sun high, everyone warm and the light as good as it can be. Sadly the length of events and road closure timings mean a 7am start isn’t out of the ordinary, and as we all know the light 30 minutes after the gun goes off is very different and even more so as the morning progresses.

Now we would not be exactly telling the truth if we said we had spent hours researching and testing this product. But we did enjoy focusing on the right size towel for the triathlete/swimmer. Too big and it gets left in the cupboard, too small and again, the cupboard wins. And if we had not used the best quality materials, the cupboard has a new friend for life!

The size is optimum for the transition area, as well as transition bag size and the finish is quick-drying with none of the 'drying myself with a dry chamois' you so hate from typical printed towels.

The reactive printing process delivers a great soft to handle towel. In fact we sent Huub Toussaint one to test... we have not had it back.

HUUB's Sport LUUB is a multi-use, anti-chaffing triathlon wetsuit and tri suit lube. The balm prevents and relieves chafed, chapped and cracked skin. The HUUB Sport LUUB also helps prevent hot spots and rubbing.

A simple 66g roll-on stick to shield yourself that can be used on any area of the body to protect the skin from friction and moisture. It also allows a wetsuit or tri suit to slide on and off a lot more easily.

For a faster transition during your race, apply the HUUB Sport LUUB to the outside of the wetsuit around the wrists and ankles. As the wetsuit turns inside out, the arm and leg areas will quickly and easily slip off your skin.
