HUUB Design have launched not one but two triathlon events for 2016 this month.
Taking place at Derby College's Engine Shed restaurant HUUB Design's Dean Jackson teamed up with BBC Sports Personality Of The Year winner Bailey Matthews to announce the two triathlons taking place this year.
Following the huge success of the 2015 event, Dean announced that the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon will return to Derby in 2016. Dean revealed that this year the event would include a new route through the city's Cathedral Quarter. It is to be held in Markeaton Park in Derby on Sunday July 17th, and competitors get the chance to race against the 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button.
Pre-registrations for this event are being taken now, and so you can find out more about this and register your interest online.
Bailey Matthews won the Helen Rollason Award at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards 2015. Stealing the show with his fantastic stories and videos, Bailey shared his video message from Simon Cowell who said, "Bailey, you never call me anymore."
He was at the event to launch the Be More Bailey Triathlon which is designed for children who either have a disability or who just need a little bit of extra confidence. The event will have no timing, placing and is one where everyone gets a medal. Bailey said of his triathlon, “I want children like me or those without the confidence to complete a triathlon."
