This weekend will be the last opportunity for Rio-bound athletes to get a final speed tune up with a race before the games officially open next month on 5th August.
Hamburg will host some of triathlon’s top athletes including team GB's Helen Jenkins along with South Africans Henri Schoeman and Mari Rabie poised to race. Other HUUB athletes in the event are Derby's own Tom Bishop and Sophie Coldwell with Aileen Reid flying the flag for Ireland.
The spectacular course will lead them through Hamburg city centre along Alster, Elbchaussee and Rathausmarkt.
