….but do you know why your coach is asking you to perform catch up?

HUUB have teamed up with Dave Tonge to create a brand new innovative swimming tool called The ‘Catch Up Pole’.
The Catch Up Pole allows the swimmer to enter the water inline with his or her shoulders. This then stops them crossing over the centreline and stops them from ‘snaking’ through the water.
It has adjustable buoyancy discs which can be aligned to suit the shoulder width of the swimmer & also help keep the swimmer on top of the water when performing the drill.
The pole is excellent for creating distance per stroke and stops them from ‘windmilling’ through the water. It lowers stroke count per 25m and slows stroke rate to allow for a relaxed controlled stroke. Helping the hips & shoulders to rotate together creating a perfectly timed freestyle.
