HUUB are delighted to announce that Ilkeston CC, a local team that share our passion for cycling, has chosen HUUB as their main cycling kit provider to produce their custom team kit for 2021 and beyond. Like HUUB, they are progressive and forward-thinking by nature, and from their inauguration in 2017, progress certainly has been the name of the game.
At the end of 2020, Ilkeston CC received Cycling Weekly's 'Club of the Year' award for facing down the considerable challenges offered up to every cycling club during the pandemic. In fact, they thrived... Its enthusiastic and engaged membership left few socially-distanced stones unturned, from roller sessions on Zoom for its youth academy to growing its active member base when the rules were relaxed in the summer.
Through HUUB Custom, the team will now have access to the latest HUUB technologies - tested, tried, developed and approved by some of the best athletes in the world of cycling. Comfort, fit, fabric quality and durability have been a key focus throughout the development of all HUUB's custom garments.
Dave Hartley, Chairman of Ilkeston Cycle Club, said: "The new designs have exceeded our expectations. The kit is super fresh, very distinctive, with lots of time and care taken over the minor details important to us. The team are a pleasure to work with and very straight forward with an easy to use, bespoke order system via their main website. We have had no issues at all from our members regarding the order process. Additional options, sizes and more product range choices were made available with no effort on our part.
"Having been sent samples to road test, I have been delighted with the quality and performance. The fit is superb, and it looks great out on the road. It gave me that 'new bike' feeling, and I'm fairly sure the new kit added plenty of watts to my sessions! We'll continue with this relationship into the future and are proud to be doing more business with HUUB in the months and years ahead as our main cycling kit provider."
