Varme Thermal Balaclava

Nicely warm. Made it possible for me to swim in 7 °C water (beside some other good gear of course). Without it my neck whould freeze.
Sizing is difficult though. M fits my head size, but is to wide on the neck. Ordered a size S now. Hopefully that isn’t to tight on the head.

I was not expecting it to make too much difference. Without the hood I could swim front crawl for approximately 20-50 metres before my head hurt from the cold. Wearing the hood I can do the full 40 min time allocation allowed at my local lake as it is 9 degrees. It stayed in place. My speedo goggles didn’t seem to sit well with it but they leaked without the hood so I picked up some Huub goggles which I need to try out. this has extended the season for outdoor swimming for me and I bought it at the black friday price so pretty happy with that!

Better then my other one. Fit's perfect and keeps me warm.
