From no racing in months to a packed few days of racing all over Europe! The first and only round of the WTS took place in Hamburg, and with no other WTS events this year, it also meant that the winners would be crowned 2020 World Champions. HUUB's Georgia Taylor-Brown powered to the line and a superb first world title.

Also taking place at the weekend were several 70.3 events featuring many HUUB athletes. It was a great day out in France for Fenella Langridge at the IRONMAN's Les Sables d'Olonne-Vendé 70.3. With the fastest swim and bike, she was leading until 15km into the run where she was eventually reeled in due to cramp, taking the bronze medal.

Back in the UK, the PTO supported race Helvellyn took place. Of those racing was Alistair Brownlee (GBR) who was doubling up with Hamburg WTS. Just 24 hours after racing WTS Hamburg he won the iconic mountain triathlon.

Both attracting a host of talent and HUUB athletes, including a certain Olympic Champion...
